My new 72V New Electric Bike From Hi-Power Cycles

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to show my new electric bike I got from Hi-Power Cycles (www.hi-powercycles.com). I bought it for my commute to Cal Lutheren University. It is amazing! I bought the most powerful system from them which is a 72v lifepo4 battery and their high torque striker motor. This thing is amazing! The hill I climb here is a true 20% average grade.

nice bike, I also have 72v electric bike also and goes about 50mph on a flat road.

  • wongthong7:

I did it once, not in front of police just to see what it like. I don’t recommended to anyone!!!!

I have a Tidal FOrce M-750X and live down the street. I ride up the hills all the time. I’d love to check it out .

I’d never buy a bike without knowing the weight – it’s critical

A bunch of bikes weigh tons more than necessary = poor range / speed.

If the juice ever runs out – to pedal is torture – even on the flat

  • ahset:

wow. Im impressed. That’s a torquey motor!

  • bananaphonehome:

    nice bike, bad acting.

  • smay28:

Aluminum frame on that thing? Do you have torque arms on it? I can’t really make out the drop out configuration. Tell me more.. Looks like a great commuter rig.. I like..

  • smay28:

    Tell us about your ride..

  • wongthong7:

It’s the best ride, smooth and fast!!! But I would not recommended take it off road and just because it expensive!!!

  • Pierules123:

whats fastest ebike under 500 bucks

  • cypher954:

    @Pierules123
you could probably get a 2805 Nine contient with a controller for $500 but if you want a good battery that will last long, it will cost you at least $500…you can get cheap SLA’s for about $150- 200, though but don’t expect them to last more than year

  • cypher954:

make sure it’s the 2805 Nine continent if you want speed..the 2806 and 2807 are much slower

  • ebach1:

    how much is it? :)

  • mrbubetube:

Nice, thanks for the video. jeeze, 2500 watts? Will that thing spray roost in the dirt if you floor it? I just ordered an E+ 1000w kit, still waiting for it to arrive. But I test rode an older 1000w E+ at the shop and I damn near pulled a wheelie when I hit the throttle. Different company, different system, but I wonder how they compare.

  • fordmod2008:

200sx in the car park :-)

  • emilmatejka1:

Man, you shouldn’t ride a bike! You have no sense of equilibrium! My grandmother has more skill ;)

  • galaxiedance:

You still have the tag on the front of the bike….jeez! and if you ride your bike the old fashion way, those hills will be pretty easy… just get some strong legs.. not those Flamingo legs you have. Everyone’s gettin’ so lazy….

  • patrikk777:

    Get a new helmet :D

  • nubserver:

    how fast can it go?
