The bike is a 1972 Kawasaki F7 175 that was converted into a 24 volt electric motorcycle and it’s a hell of a lot of fun. Quiet, no gas, no oil, a clean green machine, well balanced, comfortable and quick to get up to speed. The top speed on flats is 25- 30 mph, distance range with two, 40 amp, lead acid batteries is 10 miles on flat terrain and it will easily climb any hill. The bike charges to full in 3 hours with the included AC charger for the lead acid batteries which costs only 25 cents per charge! You can purchase a 24 volt DC car charger that will charge this bike from any vehicle. This conversion used a Mars Etek 0708 motor, Alltrax AXE 48-44 programable controller, 4.8 to 1 ratio (12 teeth front, 58 teeth back) the total weight of the bike is 235 pounds. You can upgrade this bike in the future with lithium batteries for greater distance and a top speed of 50 mph. This bike was registered motorcycle in the state of Connecticut, it can be reregistered to use on the roads or you can use it as an Enduro for off road usage.
