Your Pride Jazzy EVO 613Li is the lithium version of Pride’s narrowest full size power chair, and the battery is the whole reason it exists. One lithium iron phosphate pack replaces the two lead acid batteries the standard EVO 613 carries, dropping about 29 pounds from the chair while pushing range from roughly 14 miles up to 17.6 miles at full capacity, or 21 miles at 200 pounds. Combined with the 22 inch base and 22 inch turning radius, it is a chair that fits through your hallway and still goes the distance outdoors.
This replacement is the Pride OEM lithium pack: 25.6 volts, 32.4 amp hours, 829 watt hours, weighing 18.5 pounds. It fits the Jazzy EVO 613Li only. If you own the standard EVO 613 with two U1 lead acid batteries, this will not work in your chair, and converting a 613 to lithium takes additional Pride parts beyond the battery itself. Open your battery compartment before ordering: one battery means you have the 613Li and you are in the right place, two batteries means you need our U1 pair instead.
One thing worth knowing before you travel, because it surprises people: this battery is not airline compliant. Lithium is often assumed to be the flight friendly choice, but the FAA caps mobility device batteries at 300 watt hours, and at 829 watt hours this pack is well beyond that limit. Pride states this directly. If you fly regularly with your chair, that is worth factoring into your planning, and we are glad to talk through the options with you.
What lithium iron phosphate does give you is longevity and convenience. It charges faster than lead acid, holds its charge far better in storage, delivers sustained power rather than fading as the pack drains, and typically lasts several times longer than a lead acid pair. Every battery we sell is tested before it ships and protected by its built in management system, which guards against overcharging, overheating, over discharge, and short circuits.
Your battery ships partially charged, which is standard for safe lithium transport, so charge it fully before your first outing. A lithium pack’s management system can also enter protection mode during shipping or storage, and a pack in protection mode may briefly read as having no voltage. That is normal and not a defect; connecting your charger usually wakes it up. Shipping is free, your order leaves our warehouse within three business days, and real people answer our phone whenever you have a question.
